 Several of hMa's projects, including Holley House, Ash 4Ways (featured on the book's cover), Pratt Pavilion, and the Battery Park City Community Center, DWi-P (Digital Water i-Pavilion), feature light as a major design component.

Pratt Pavilion is a 10,000 square foot stainless steel pavilion designed by hMa to create the entrance into Pratt's new 200,000 square foot Design Center.  Steel panels that clad the Pavilion were provided by Bruce Gitlin's company,
